Leap Ahead Early Learning Center exists to provide young children a safe, engaging, high quality early childhood education that utilizes a developmentally appropriate curriculum in an environment that supports their physical, cognitive, language and social/emotional development.
  • We create an environment that encourages and supports hands-on exploration and discovery through a wide variety of play-based experiences for children ages 2 to 5 years.
  • We understand the value of play in all domains of a child’s early development and incorporate that into all aspects of our curriculum.
  • We understand the value of outdoor experiences and utilize our outdoor areas as extensions of the classroom experiences.
  • We understand the purpose of developmentally appropriate assessments and use these as a guide when developing activities for each child.
  • We provide the children with materials, time and space for independent explorations and projects, as well as small group activities that encourage social and emotional development.
  • We provide materials and time for children to explore art, music, math, science, writing and reading activities.
We currently provide two programs- Toddler Time (2- 3 1/2 year olds) and Preschool (3-5 year olds)
